Programme in Estonian

SCULT Fest & SCULT Awards are part of the internationalization process of the World Sport Volunteers Movement SCULT.com, supported partly  by the Erasmus+ Sport Program and the Estonian National Foundation of Civil Society.

Sport is not just about competing. It's about learning how to win and how to lose, how to play fair, how to organise teamwork, how to become an admired but humble leader. All these skills are highly valuable both in the labour market and personal life.

Sport and physical activity sector is heavily relaying on volunteers. Without them, most activity simply wouldn’t happen. Sport is the most attractive field for volunteering, in which over 30 million people in the EU take part either occasionally or regularly. Both, the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic games had about 70 000 sport volunteers nicknamed as Game Makers or Runners.

Sport is one of the best ways to boost social integration – across social, cultural, ethnical, language and other boundaries. And football is surely one of the most commonly played game across the globe, thus perhaps the best integration tool ever… Or is it?

Come to the SCULT Fest and you will see what happens behind the scene of some of the major sporting events like FIS Cross Country World Championships Lahti 2017 or Homeless Word Cup in Football. In addition to brilliant speeches, you will gain new practical skills from the Master Classes, make new like-minded friends in Sport Friends Blind Date, and celebrate the SCULT Awards Gala 2017. Lunch is nor included in the price.
